EVERYONE IS WELCOME

Come and try climbing

If you have not tried roped climbing before, you’ll need to book a Beginners Course. If you’re an established climber you can just complete forms and you’re off. You don’t have to book or complete a course to go bouldering, just turn up. You can hire shoes. Save time by completing a form online (which includes a safety video) in advance.  Over 16s can boulder unsupervised but under 16s must be supervised by a registered adult. Each adult can supervise up to 2 others per visit.

“Now we’ve been family members for 11 months I can say this is our favourite thing to happen to Chippenham… Maybe ever. Quality place, great friendly knowledgeable staff, great food, lots of new friends already.” Google review

A collage of images of the play park at The Arc. A young girl smiles as she crawls through a tube, we see wide shots of the whole park including a slide and a girl leaning on the doorframe or a little cabin. The play park is primarily made from wood.

Built by CBLC with support from Sport England, the climbing centre is operated by TCA. The climbing centre and skatepark was funded from CBLC's investments together with a grant of £200,000 from Wiltshire Council towards the skatepark and £100,000 grant towards the climbing centre from Sport England.
