Parking at The Arc

Situated at the end of Westmead Lane at the top of the driveway leading to the centre, we have 23 car parking spaces for general visitors. These are indicated by red bays and provide handy access to the climbing centre, skatepark and children’s play park.

Save time before you visit by downloading the RingGo app. Some networks have bad reception, but you can pop into the centre to jump onto wifi.

Ways to pay

Users can pay to park using the RingGo app, by calling RingGo 0121 259 0049 (citing car registration number and location). The location number of the car park is 33126.

1 Hour – £1.00
2 Hours – £1.70
3 Hours – £2.40
4 Hours – £3.10

You can also pay at a card payment machine which situated at the corner of the main building along the driveway. Payment is by debit or credit card.

The car park is managed and operated by Euro Parking Services, with ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) and CCTV in operation. Full T&Cs and charges are displayed on site and below.

Travel green

The Arc is within easy walking distance from Chippenham’s railway station and bus station. If you are arriving by bike, we have extensive sheltered bike parking. 

Disabled parking

There is an additional small car park directly adjacent to the building which can be used by disabled visitors (as well as TCA staff). This is behind a barrier. Please use the call button on the barrier to gain access. Please note that parking charges and restrictions still apply in this car park, unless you have been issued with a free permit.

Drop-off

You may drop-off visitors to The Arc within the paid zone without charge as long as you do not stay and use the car park. See signs for more info.

Additional parking is available in easy walking distance of the centre, at Wood Lane or Gladstone Road.

CLBC Parking

Parking at the end of Westmead Lane is owned by Chippenham Borough Lands Charity. In a separate section of  the car park, behind the fence, the charity offers parking schemes for low-income workers and charity volunteers.
