Based in the heart of Bristol, The Mothership was TCA’s first climbing wall. In October 2019, following a state of the art expansion, The Mothership opened its doors to a whole new floor of climbing. This dedicated bouldering centre is a safe and welcoming space for people of all backgrounds and abilities. A strong and supportive climbing community has made this the centre of choice for many budding local climbers as well as professionals.
Bouldering is a form of climbing performed on low-level walls above crash mats. It’s an easy sport to get into and doesn’t require the use of harnesses or ropes. We think it’s a great social activity and a brilliant way to get active with a group of mates. Haven’t climbed before? Just come on down, watch a short induction video and you can get started straight away!
The Mothership reopens its doors to the public on 25 July 2020 after 4 months of shut down due to coronavirus.
