Counter staff

We are hiring counter staff for our two bristol centres, this is an exciting opportunity for you to become a part of our team at The Mothership and The Church. The role is very heavily customer service based, assisting your Duty Manager and team on what can be quite busy shifts. It will be days, evenings and weekend work, we do also expect you to be able to pick up cover if needed. Please read the job description to find out more:

TCA is expanding in the South West

The Climbing Academy Group Ltd (TCA) is a successful chain of climbing walls with 4 walls in Glasgow and Bristol. TCA’s fifth centre is currently being built in Chippenham and will open in winter 2021. If you’re interested in working for an expanding company within the climbing wall industry, we have some very exciting employment opportunities available.

We are restructuring staffing across the south-west to cover our existing walls in Bristol: The Mothership and The Church as well as the new wall in Chippenham (name TBC). As a result, we have a number of jobs available. We’re looking for applicants with a range of skills and experience that have a passion to work in the industry and become an integral part of the growing TCA team.

Operations Manager (Customer Service)

LOCATION: Bristol across two sites but will work with the Operations Manager in Chippenham and may be required to work there on occasion.

We are hiring a new Operations Manager (Customer Service) for our Bristol centres. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to run our operations across the Bristol centres – The Mothership and The Church. The role will focus on all aspects of customer service within our shops, cafes and counter teams. LOCATION: Based in Bristol but will work across Bristol and Chippenham sites.

We are hiring a new Head Setter for our Bristol and Chippenham centres to be at the forefront of our setting team across the TCA centres within the South West – The Mothership, The Church and the Chippenham wall. Senior Duty Manager(s) (Bristol)

LOCATION: Bristol-based over the two sites.

We are hiring a number of Senior Duty Managers positions to support the Operations Managers across Bristol. Senior DMs will be primarily based on the counter but will have time off-desk to perform other duties. They will usually have a department specification which could be either; Customer Service – supporting the Operations Manager with Shop, Cafe and the Counter team or Staffing – which is supporting the Operations Managers with rota, hiring and the development of staff

Senior DMs will be primarily based on the counter but will have time off-desk to perform other duties and will usually have a department specification which could be either; Customer Service & Staffing – supporting the Operations Manager with sales, rota, hiring and the development of staff or Maintenance – supporting the Routesetting and Maintenance Manager to with work routine and ad hoc maintenance tasks around the centres.
