The Climbing Academy Group Ltd (TCA) is a successful chain of climbing walls with 4 walls spread across Glasgow and Bristol. TCA’s fifth centre is currently being built in Chippenham and will open in spring 2022. If you’re interested in working for an expanding company within the climbing wall industry we have some very exciting employment opportunities available.

Due to the latest development, The Arc, we have a number of jobs available based in Chippenham, a short commute from Bristol, Bath, Swindon or the surrounding area. We’re looking for applicants with a range of skills and experience that have a passion to work in the industry and become an integral part of the growing TCA team.

Operations Manager – The Arc

LOCATION: Chippenham, but may be required to work at our Bristol sites.

We are hiring an Operations Manager for our brand new purpose-built centre in Chippenham. Maybe you’ll already have some experience of running a climbing centre and want more of a challenge. Maybe you’ve limited climbing experience but run a leisure operation or a chain of cafes and really want to get into the climbing industry? If you’ve never worked in the climbing industry but think you have what it takes we’d love to hear from you. Whatever your background, if you think you stack up against our job description and criteria then get your application in as we’re excited to talk to you.

Chippenham is a great place to live and an easy commute from Bristol, Bath, Swindon or the surrounding area. If you’re not already based nearby, we’ll help you move.

SALARY: £27-31K depending on experience, plus bonus and benefits.

 

Instructing Manager – The Arc

Senior Duty Manager(s) – The Arc

LOCATION: Chippenham, but may be required to work at other South West sites.

We are hiring up to two Senior Duty Managers positions to support the Operations Manager in a newly built Chippenham wall. Senior DMs will be primarily based on the counter but will have time off-desk to perform other duties and will have a department specification which will be; Customer Service & Staffing – supporting the Operations Manager with sales, rota, hiring and the development of staff.

Job Description

Ideally you’ll already have some experience of being a shift manager in a climbing centre and want to develop this further to a full-time role with some additional responsibilities.

SALARY: £22-24K depending on experience, plus bonus and benefits.
