Schools and GCSE Climbing

The Church is a founding member of the Association of British Climbing Walls (ABC), a National Indoor Climbing Award Schemes (NICAS) Primary Centre, an Approved Activity Provider (AAP) for the Duke of Edinburgh Award and holds Adventure Activities Licensing Authority (AALA) license. All our instructors hold Mountain Training qualifications and have an enhanced DBS check. We cater for groups of all abilities, including those with additional needs.

School Group Entry Fees

  • Instructor fee: £35-45 per hour for up to 9 pupils
  • Max group size: 45 pupils
  • Pupil entry fee: £8 U18s / £10 18+
  • All equipment, excluding shoes, is provided free of charge.

NICAS & GCSE Courses

  • Instructor fee: £45 per hour for up to 6 pupils
  • Max group size: 24
  • £40 per pupil
  • All equipment, including shoes, is provided free of charge.

Technical Advice

We have a number of Technical Advisers with the right qualifications and experience to provide advice on all aspects of running climbing walls.

Management Training for running Climbing and Bouldering walls

We’re able to train your staff to run your walls safely. This can cover a series of areas, including risk assessments, training procedures and group management.
