Climbing Birthday Parties

Climbing birthday parties can be booked for children and young people from 6 years+. Parties at The Newsroom are active, sociable and most importantly fun – making for a memorable and thrilling birthday treat.

Climb only party = 1 hour climb
Climb and room hire/exclusive use party = 1 hour climb + 1 hour party room

6-8 years = 12 children max
8+ years = 15 children max

Bookings can be made online using the booking widget below. The widget can be used for parties that are more than 3 weeks from now. We may be able to accommodate other days and times and larger groups. Contact glasgow@theclimbingacademy.com with your enquiries.

Getting ready

What to wear?

Children should wear non-restrictive clothing (such as leggings and a t-shirt or a tracksuit) and comfy, active shoes (such as trainers or plimsolls).

Celebrate in style

We have an excellent cafe on-site that can provide food to be eaten in the party room. When booking via the widget below, catering options will appear. Simply enter the number of people you require catering for. You can choose from the following:

Birthday cake

Victoria Sponge
Chocolate Fudge Cake
Caramel Swirly Cake
Blueberry Sponge Cake

£28.50 per cake (serves up to 10). You may order a maximum of 2 cakes per party. This is a simple round cake with no custom/happy birthday decoration. TCA will not provide candles but you are welcome to bring your own for use in the party room.

Party Food Package (Max 10 people)

This includes the following per child:
1 x portion of Margherita Pizza
1 x packet of Crisps
1 x Cawston Press Juice Carton
1 x 120ml tub of Ice Cream
1 x Fruit Roll (Bear YoYos)

Party Snacks Package (Max 15 people)

This includes the following per child:
1 x packet of Mackie’s Crisps
1 x Cawston Press Juice Carton
1 x Mackie’s 120ml tub of Ice Cream
1 x Fruit Roll (Bear YoYos)
