Youth Climbing (8-17s)

Our Youth Climbing classes are a brilliant way for young people to get active, make friends, and have loads of fun on the wall – all while learning to climb safely. Led by qualified and friendly instructors, each session helps build confidence, co-operation, and problem-solving skills in a supportive and encouraging environment.

We follow a clear and engaging progression that lets kids develop their climbing skills week by week. Achievements are tracked along the way, giving a real sense of progress – and something to be proud of! Whether they’re just getting started or already love climbing, there’s always something new to learn.

Sessions run on Saturdays and Sundays during term time. Block bookings are released first, with single sessions available later. For bouldering classes, see Youth Bouldering at The Newsroom in Kinning Park.

BOOKING

TCA is moving towards a rolling monthly class system to make things easier for families. This change removes the stress of block-booking to secure your child’s place and avoids the high cost of paying for an entire block upfront. By spreading the *total cost of the year’s classes over 11 months (August–June), the monthly payment is significantly lower. There is no payment taken in July, and participants will remain on the roster during this period. All planned breaks will be communicated in advance via email or posted on our website.

Additionally, each month includes a free guest pass (used by any customer) as a small gesture to show our appreciation for your commitment.

Monthly prices vary from £29-£53, depending on course level and class length. You’ll be informed of the final monthly price when you request to join. This ensures that every participant pays the correct amount each month based on the class they attend.

On 8 December, a link will go live on this page where you can request to join the rolling monthly class system and from there, if successful, you will be emailed an invite to enrol your child and set up your monthly payments.
