Climbing Birthday Parties

Climbing birthday parties can be booked for children and young people from 6 years+. Parties at The Prop Store are active, sociable and most importantly fun – making for a memorable and thrilling birthday treat. The kids will get to try their hand at both Bouldering and Roped Climbing.

Climb only party = 1.5 hour minimum climb (Catering not available*). The maximum number of participants is 6 due to instructor ratios.

*You can request an additional 45 mins in The Cafe after your session. We will give you an area of the cafe and you may bring your own cake and food into this space.

Bookings can be made online using the booking widget below. The widget can be used for parties that are more than 3 weeks from now. We may be able to accommodate other days and times and larger groups. Contact glasgow@theclimbingacademy.com with your enquiries.

Getting ready

What to wear?

Children should wear non-restrictive clothing (such as leggings and a t-shirt or a tracksuit) and comfy, active shoes (such as trainers or plimsolls).

The Prop Store is adjacent to the canal and not too far from the path which follows the Kelvin all the way from Kelvingrove Park or Botanic Gardens – which you can see in this video. It is easily accessible by public transport. There is plenty of free car parking spaces and a bike parking area outside reception.
