Climbing Birthday Parties

Climbing birthday parties can be booked for children and young people from 6 years+. Parties at The Arc are active, sociable and most importantly fun – making for a memorable and thrilling birthday treat.

Getting ready

What to wear?

Children should wear non-restrictive clothing (such as leggings and a t-shirt or a tracksuit) and comfy, active shoes (such as trainers or plimsolls).

Celebrate in style

At the time of booking you can opt to order a selection of handmade pizzas.  Dietary requirements can be catered for. Please specify this at the time of booking. Please note that if ordering pizzas for a party this must be done in advance at the time of booking, not on the day. We will provide crisps and jugs of squash with your pizzas. Other snacks and cakes are available to purchase from the cafe on the day.

You are welcome to bring your own birthday cake and other food and eat it on our party tables up in The Loft. This space is accessible by wheelchairs.

How to

Book your party

Party bookings are £150 for 1.5 hours of instructed climbing for up to 9 children. This includes an additional 30 mins in The Loft after your session. We will cordon this area off for your group to have exclusive use and you may bring your own cake and food into this space.

Your session may include rope climbing, bouldering and auto belay.

Coming by car? The party organiser can bring 1 car free of charge.

For all other visitors parking charges apply. You can drop off and pick up for free if you do not wait longer than 15 mins. Save time and hassle before you visit by downloading the RingGo app.

We encourage our climbers to arrive via public transport, bike or on foot where possible.  We are situated in the Westmead playing fields, only half a mile from Chippenham Railway Station.
