Here’s everything you need to know.

How much is a TCA annual pass?

The adult annual pass is £572. With the free month included that works out at £44 a month, which is less than our standard monthly membership (prepaid or monthly billing). The under-16 supervised climbing pass is £260, around £20 a month over the 13 months.

How quickly does it pay for itself?

Adult entry at the door is £12.50 off peak and £14.50 at peak. Climb three or four times a month and the pass has already covered its cost. Come once a week and you’ll save well over £100 against door prices, with every session after that effectively free.

The under-16 pass earns its keep even faster. A couple of visits a month and it’s paid for itself.

And because your price is fixed for the full 13 months, you’re protected from any changes to entry prices for more than a year.

Already have an annual pass?

You don’t need to wait for it to run out. Renew early, even if your current pass doesn’t expire until September or later, and your new one stacks straight onto your existing end date with the extra month added on top. You lose nothing by buying now.

• When does the offer run?
  From 12 to 31 August 2026. From 1 September annual passes go back to their standard 12 months.
• Which passes does the offer apply to?
  Only the two full price 12-month passes: the adult annual pass (£572) and the under-16 supervised climbing pass (£260), bought new or renewed during the sale. Monthly billing, shorter prepaid passes and concession rates are not included.
• I climb on a concession rate. Can I get the annual pass offer?
  Concession climbers already get our best deal, around 20% off every climb, all year round. This offer is the once-a-year deal for everyone who pays full price. In fact the concession monthly rate of £41 is less than this offer works out at per month (£44), with nothing to pay up front and no year-long commitment. Concession rates often depend on eligibility that can change during the year, things like student status, so they run month to month rather than as annual passes.
• What if my current pass doesn’t expire until later in the year?
  Renew now and the new pass is added to the end of your current one, plus the free month. Your start date moves, not your value.
• Can I use my pass at any TCA centre?
  Yes. One pass covers all five centres across Bristol, Glasgow and Chippenham.
• Do I need to book my sessions?
  No. Bouldering at TCA is turn-up-and-climb with no booking needed and you don’t need a course or lesson before you start. If you are an experienced rope climber (or being accompanied by one) you also do not need to book. Just rock up. Entry allows you to stay as long as you want.
• How do I buy?
  Buy online through the usual pass links on our prices page or at reception in any centre, any time from 12 to 31 August.
