New Climbing Wall in Chippenham

Over the past year, we have been working with Chippenham Borough Lands Charity to design a new building that will become a climbing wall and skate park right in the centre of Chippenham.  Their planning application is in and they are hoping to get plenty of supportive comments from climbers and local residents.  If you can, take a look at the planning application here and add your comments, we’d all be really grateful.  The consultation ends on 10th Jan so time is tight.

This centre will be a fantastic addition to indoor climbing in the area and will be one of the first ground up builds in the UK.  Hopefully it will be open in mid 2020, just in time for the Olympics!  TCA is hoping to operate the new centre as part of our group so this will be an additional centre on your membership.
