An evening with James Rudge: Screening of ‘Able’
We’re beyond excited to be hosting an evening with GB paraclimber James Rudge at The Mothership. On Saturday 14 June, join us for a screening of ‘Able’ – a short film that follows James’ journey as he chases his dream of qualifying for the 2028 Paralympics in Los Angeles.
As one of the GB team’s leading paraclimbers and a long-standing Ellis Brigham athlete, James has spent years pushing himself to prove he belongs at the top level. ‘Able’ explores his battle with self-doubt and the highs and lows of striving for that coveted Paralympic spot.
After the screening, we’ll be holding a Q&A session with James himself. It’s a rare chance to hear from him in person about his journey, training, and what drives him forward in the world of paraclimbing. Whether you’re a climber, a supporter of inclusive sports, or just curious about the human stories behind elite competition, this is a night not to miss.
📅 Date & Time: Saturday 14 June, 5 – 6:30pm
📍 Location: The Climbing Academy – The Mothership, 85 Barrow Road, Bristol BS5 0FD
🎟️ Please note: The ticket price does not include entry to climb.
