ClimbScotland Fun Bouldering Competition

This year, ClimbScotland are hosting a fun bouldering competition for beginner to intermediate youth climbers and we’re proud to announce that The Prop Store will be a host-wall for the competition.

Competitors will have the opportunity to attempt the designated competition problems and submit their scorecard between Mon 24 Jul and Sun 27 Aug. The event is open to any youth climbers from Junior – Youth E categories, please see the ClimbScotland website for more info on categories. Scorecards are available behind reception with scores being submitted online – just ask a member of staff.

Throughout the competition, we’ll have 15 boulder problems throughout the centre with each climber being allocated a specific 8 problems within those 15. This is dependent on which youth age category the climber falls into. Please refer to the scorecard to see which problems should be climbed for your category. The competition is self scoring with points for getting tops and zones. Please note, anyone under the age of 16 will require a supervising adult who will also act as the climbers scorer.

It’s set to be a fantastic competition with loads of prizes up for grabs. Not only will the top 3 competitors recieve a prize but ClimbScotland will be giving away one prize each week for the best video submission of a CSFBC problem, you just need to post the video and tag @tca_thepropstore and @ClimbScotland to be in with a chance of winning.
