The Arc Open Day

Sat 2 August 2025 | 11am–6pm

Join us at The Arc in Chippenham for our big Open Day, packed full of climbing tasters, music, games, great food and family-friendly fun. Whether you’re a seasoned climber or just curious to give it a go, this is your chance to explore everything The Arc has to offer.

• Try climbing on our awesome walls – no experience needed
• Enjoy the free kids play park next to the cafe
• Chill on our giant café decking (with both sunny and sheltered seating)
• Tuck into a BBQ and tasty treats from our café
• Explore Westmead Open Space and CBLC’s fantastic woodland creature Sculpture Walk
• Enjoy live music throughout the day and plenty of people-watching
• Our cafe and outside areas are dog-friendly – with doggie gelatos available

Burt’s Fest is back!

At the skatepark, Burt’s Fest will be bringing high-energy skate jam vibes, with:

• A skate jam and demos
• A comp with prizes
• Live graffiti
• Merch stalls and more

Come hang out, skate, spectate and celebrate Chippenham’s amazing community.

Evening fun

From 6pm onwards:
We’re keeping the buzz going into the evening with a relaxed hangout for regulars (or new climbers) – so if you climb with us already, stick around. There’ll be a climbing murder mystery/whodunnit. Plus fun challenges in the bouldering spaces, food and a quiz.
