Climbing Changes Lives
Bring your group together for a climbing experience that’s active, inclusive, and inspiring. From school classes to workplace teams, climbing is a powerful way to build confidence, trust, and focus – and it’s great fun too.
At The Climbing Academy, we offer instructor-led group sessions for all ages and abilities across our centres in Glasgow, Bristol, and Chippenham. Our supportive team will help you plan the perfect visit, whether it’s a one-off adventure or part of an ongoing programme.

Sessions are tailored to your group’s goals and abilities, ensuring everyone – even first-timers – feels supported and challenged at the right level.

Bristol and Chippenham
The Mothership offers bouldering near Lawrence Hill and The Church is a roped climbing centre in St Werburghs. The Arc has bouldering and ropes in Chippenham, Wiltshire.
Glasgow
The Newsroom offers bouldering in Kinning Park and The Prop Store is a bouldering and roped climbing centre in Maryhill.
Celebrations
We run birthday parties for kids, but there is no reason you can’t have a 50th climbing birthday party – because growing up is optional! Just contact your local centre to enquire. Contact You can also buy TCA gift cards that can be redeemed on entry, courses, cafe and shop purchases.
External Instructor/Provider
Apply for the External Instructor/Provider association through your TCA account. Once approved, you will be able to bring in groups to TCA. Note: You will automatically be removed from the association after 12 months and will need to reapply to ensure we have the most up to date information.
- Photos of your first aid
- Evidence of Insurance
- Evidence of all appropriate qualifications for the activities you intend to undertake
- Share your Mountain Training D-log. To do this, log into your MT account, select the D-log tab and then select on the share tab on the right-hand side of the navigation bar and enter the appropriate email.
