Women’s Boulder Social in Glasgow

Looking to climb, connect, and be inspired by a vibrant community?

Join TCA Glasgow’s Women’s Boulder Social, a welcoming weekly gathering for climbers of all levels. This inclusive event is open to all cis and trans women, as well as non-binary people who feel comfortable in a space centred on women’s experiences. Whether you’re just getting started or have years of climbs behind you, you’ll find a place to share encouragement and celebrate progress.

TCA’s Women’s Boulder Social is a place to meet like‑minded climbers, swap tips and simply enjoy being part of the community. Success isn’t measured by difficulty, it’s about having a good time and supporting each other.

• When: Every Wednesday, 7-9.30pm
• Where: The Prop Store (Maryhill) – meet in the café 
• Cost: No additional fee. This social is included with your regular entry. If you’re new to TCA, simply complete the relevant form before your visit.
• Free shoe hire: Participants of the social can access free shoe hire.

Accessibility

Bouldering, roped climbing and the cafe are all situated on the accessible ground floor of The Prop Store, with just a small step up onto the bouldering mats. It’s a friendly, easy‑to‑navigate environment. The group often warm up in the training room, which is 1 floor up via a stairwell, but the main session runs on the ground floor.

Meet Your Host

Sessions are led by Natalie (she/her), a seasoned climber with over 20 years of experience across bouldering, trad and winter climbing – and 10 years of guiding and mentoring at TCA. Her passion lies in sharing the joy of climbing, working with others and building community.

Attending Women’s Boulder Social has no additional cost. It is included within the price of entry. If you are new to TCA, you will need to register to climb by completing the relevant form – which you can do online before you visit.
