Bristol – Student Winter Comp Series

Southwest Universities Head-to-Head

In 25-26, the student comp will run across four rounds, each open for several days. Students can take part anytime within each round’s window. Think your uni has the strongest climbers in the southwest? Time to prove it – our new 4-round winter bouldering comp is here.

Round 1: Thu 16 – Sun 19 October
Round 2: Thu 27 – Sun 30 November
Round 3: Thu 12 – Sun 15 February
Round 4: Thu 26 – Sun 29 March

Format

• 2 hours to climb as many as you can (redpoint format – i.e. as many goes as it takes)
• Cost = your usual wall entry (or pass) + £5 comp fee
• Book online to guarantee your spot (but drop-ins welcome)

Spring Comp and Evening Finals

Sat 18 April, 12-7pm

In April we’ll have an open-to-all comp with a big qualifying round (25 brand new problems) and the always entertaining evening finals – where you get to marvel at the very best climbers doing their thing! You are welcome to come and spectate, even if you’re not climbing. This comp is for all climbers, from students to retired, beginners or elites – there will be problems to suit everyone. Book your place now.
