This video by talented filmmaker Yuli Freed, was a long time coming due to some weather issues. The first time we filmed this, Yuli managed a complete the entire film in one take but sadly there had been heavy rain and the skatepark was full of water, having not yet drained, so we didn’t think we could use it.

This was all filmed super early in the morning before the centre opened. Finding another day that we could gather all the right people together at the right time when it was stable weather proved more challenging than we initially thought. So we had to wait a long time to be able to get the team back together to re-film the last section. It might not have leapt out on first watch, but there is a join where both days filming have been patched together. This is no easy feat – so well done Yuli.

If you look very carefully, you can spot him piloting with expertise from the corner of the cafe (near the accessible loo). He piloted the entire flight from this location in both shoots. We are really happy with the result.

The valiant troops who were up at the crack of dawn on the first filming day – only to be cut from the final edit – we appreciate you and hope that you are happy with the final film. Thanks to everyone who made this film possible.
