Pricing change for 2022

Find out about a pricing change and a new way to support Urban Uprising through TCA.

From 1 January 2022 our prepaid monthly pass will be going up from £36 per month to £40 per month. But don’t worry, it is still possible to pay £36 per month with regular monthly billing (EFT). You can cancel this anytime.

We know that climbers may want to take breaks for various reasons. Passes can be frozen twice in any 12 month period. You can freeze your pass for a minimum of 3 weeks up to a maximum of 6 months. You must have at least 31 days left on your pass to request a freeze.

Giving back

From the start of the year you will also be able to add an optional donation to your pass purchase which will go straight to our charity partner, Urban Uprising. Urban Uprising uses rock climbing to improve the physical, social and emotional wellbeing of 8 to 18 year olds who are experiencing disadvantage. They give young people the chance to experience the transformational personal change that climbing can bring.

Donations can be added automatically via monthly billing or when purchasing pre-paid passes, single entry or punch cards. Donations can be made online or at the tills.

Young people are facing unprecedented challenges: poverty, isolation, gang affiliation, substance abuse, negative stereotyping, the pressure of social media and coping with the impact of coronavirus. We hope that through this mechanism TCA’s community will be able to support this amazing charity.

TCA hosts Urban Uprising sessions in Glasgow and Bristol. TCA provides free shoe hire and entry to every child attending TCA with Urban Uprising.
