Climbing4All Fundraiser

White Angles

From 15 – 22 March, the BMC is running a fundraising campaign to help some UK based charities that work through the medium of climbing and the outdoors, including our good friends at Urban Uprising. Teams from schools, universities, climbing clubs and individuals (including youth climbers and adults) can sign up to raise money from one of the charities through one of the BMC’s climbing challenges (ranging from climbing the equivalent 96m height of Big Ben or 1085m of Snowdon at one of our climbing centres) or make up their own.

Both The Newsroom and The Prop Store will be a host venue for this fundraiser, allowing you to take on the challenges in a bouldering or roped climbing environment. Read on to find out more about taking part at TCA and how to register.

– Fundraiser T&Cs for Adults (18+) –

Present a sponsorship form at reception and you’ll be given free entry to help you achieve your challenge! You’re also welcome to a free tea or coffee whilst you take on your challenge.

Plus, if you raise over £50, then we will donate the cost of entry (£10pp – whether member or PAYG) to one of the charities within the BMC list.

You must be a registered TCA Glasgow user to take part.

– Fundraiser T&Cs for Youth Climbers –

As with adult participants, youth climbers will also get free entry when taking part in their challenge, and we will donate the cost of entry for anyone who raises over £50.

To accommodate young climbers taking part in the challenge, we’ll be running set sessions with additional instructors on hand to help out. These sessions will shortly be available to book on RGP, and they must be booked in advance if you wish to take part in the challenge; we’ll share information on the RGP booking as soon as they go live. Here’s an outline of the challenge sessions we’ll have available…
