After the success of previous events, from 9-10 Mar, we are hosting another series of exclusive climbing technique masterclasses with one of the UK’s top climbers and world-renowned climbing-training expert – Neil Gresham. Choose from sessions including: supportive gym training for climbing, technique for overhangs, endurance training, fingerboarding and a very special “complete masterclass”.

Session 1 = Supportive Gym Training for Climbing
Train your opposition muscles to avoid injury. Use the Suspension straps to build ‘crusher’ compression strength and strengthen your core and shoulders for overhangs. Essential flexibility training to assist recovery and promote a fluid climbing style.
Time – 10-11am (60 minutes)
Session 2 = Neil Gresham’s ‘Complete’ Masterclass
An intensive overview of essential training, technique and tactics, including warming up, movement skills, training structure, bouldering tactics, use of the circuit board and supportive gym conditioning.
Time – 11:30am-1pm (90 minutes)
Session 3 = An Introduction to Hangboarding
How to use a fingerboard safely and effectively to build supportive strength and endurance. Fitting hangboarding into your weekly program, how to warm-up, which exercises and grips to use and how to structure your sessions.
Time – 2-3pm (60 minutes)
Session 4 = Neil Gresham’s ‘Complete’ Masterclass
An intensive overview of essential training, technique and tactics, including warming up, movement skills, training structure, bouldering tactics, use of the circuit board and supportive gym conditioning.
Time – 3:30-5pm (90 minutes)
Session 5 = Technique for Overhangs
Conserve energy by relying on skill rather than arm strength. Master the art of twisting in and using techniques such as drop-knees and flagging. How to move more dynamically and use heel-hooks and toe-hooks for compression climbing.
Time – 5:30-6.30pm (60 minutes)

Session 1 = Circuit Boards for Endurance Training
How to structure your sessions to develop strength/endurance and long/endurance for sport and trad climbing. Technique tips for climbing with a smoother, more efficient style and mental tips for pushing harder.
Time – 4-5pm (60 minutes)
Session 2 = Neil Gresham’s ‘Complete’ Masterclass
An intensive overview of essential training, technique and tactics, including warming up, movement skills, training structure, bouldering tactics, use of the circuit board and supportive gym conditioning.
Time – 5:30-7pm (90 minutes)
