**DUE TO COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS, NORMAL CLASSES ARE NOT CURRENTLY RUNNING.**
For those aged 8-16, our NIBAS sessions are a great way for young people to start climbing.
As part of the National Indoor Bouldering Award Scheme (NIBAS), our classes work through a 5 level structure that starts with safe and simple bouldering and moves all the way up to high-performance climbing. Each level will take the youngster a little longer to complete than the previous one as it builds skills, knowledge, confidence and performance.
The candidate logbook costs £7.50 which needs to be purchased when the child is enrolled onto level 1 of the award.
If your child is coming to NIBAS classes for the first time, we’d advise that you arrive 20 minutes earlier to watch our safety video and complete a registration form. You can make this more efficient by completing the form online here.
NIBAS is the perfect structure to lead young boulderers as they develop but is also great for DofE and other awards. If your child would prefer to attend roped climbing classes, we run these at The Prop Store in Maryhill.
When we are able to restart NIBAS classes, bookable sessions will appear in the widget below.
WEEKEND KIDS CLASSES

Youth Climbers Club
Youth Climbers club is a chilled class for young people aged 13 and up to come along and receive some pointers from an instructor. They are welcome to bring their NIBAS Logbooks if they wish. When we are able to restart the youth climbers club, bookable sessions will appear in the widget below.
PLEASE NOTE: 16-17 year olds can join as a TCA member and climb independently. They just need to watch a safety video and complete an online registration form.
