Southwest Schools’ Bouldering League

TCA SOUTHWEST SCHOOLS’ BOULDERING LEAGUE 2025

TCA is excited to announce the return of The Southwest Schools Bouldering League throughout the winter. All rounds will be held at The Mothership. 

The league consists of 4 rounds with 25 blocs (climbs) in each round. Results from previous rounds can be viewed here. 

• R1 14-16 Oct 2024 1-7 pm

• R2 2-4 Dec 2024 1-7 pm

• R3 10-12 Feb 2025 1-7 pm

• R4 24-26 Mar 2025 1-7 pm 

The blocs can be completed between 1 pm and 7 pm on the advertised dates. There are four categories:

• Junior boys, year group 7-9 

• Junior girls, year group 7-9 

• Senior boys, year group 10-13 

• Senior girls, year group 10-13

Pupils/schools can choose to field both individuals and/or teams of 3. Prizes provided by our sponsors Black Diamond will be awarded to individual winners in each category. The winning teams receive a team-winners shield and group coaching sessions at TCA. Points are awarded for each bloc attempted, and the winning teams are decided by the best results from 3 of the 4 rounds. This allows competitors to miss around without forfeiting their position in the league.

Entry cost: £41 per entry or £116 per team of 3.
