TCA
A big thanks to everyone who made it down to the BBQ and competition. Despite the good old British summer throwing a bit of rain into the pot, everyone had a great time and the BBQ's stayed nice and dry under their Gazebos.
The comp ran very smoothly and we all think it was the best yet in terms of atmosphere and the general fun had by all 160 competitors. There were some top performances and a very tight timescale for getting everything done, time management playing a big role in tactics. Becky Allen, like last year, took the top female spot with a very strong display. Ben West blew away the cobwebs of inactivity by very impressively flashing all 15 main comp problems. Special mention should go to TCA Youth Squad member James Squire. James who is only 13, completed all 50 moves of the endurance circuit showing promise of great things to come. Lastly Simon Berry, one of our sponsors from Beta and Bleaustone, despite declining entry into the prize competition, held our filthy sloper for an unbelievable 55 seconds!
